A good 18th century oak and mahogany banded long case clock by J. Warner of Shrewsbury, England. The eight day movement striking the hour on a bell. The 12” arched painted dial with date aperture and decorated with a marine scene with various ships to the corners and bearing the makers name, J Warner, Shrewsbury. The oak case of a rich dark colour with mahogany panel and banding. The long trunk door with shell inlay and the base with bracket feet. The hood with brass capped pillars and with swan neck top with brass roundels. The movement having recently been fully serviced and presented in good working order.
