19th Century American Tea Table
A superb quality American mahogany tea table in the manner of Duncan Fife. The well figured shaped top with a reeded edge over a deep freize with choice crotch mahogany veneers, supported on an elaborately carved column decorated with pineapple and palm leaves. United on a circular platform with carved pineapple detail and brass ormalu mounts having four lavishly carved legs decorated with acanthus leaves and terminating in the original brass castors. Of good color and in excellent original condition.
